Our volunteers are the backbone of our outreach efforts — helping us deliver free healthcare, run events like My Neighbor Day, and connect individuals with vital resources.

Volunteer for the My Neighbor Day™ RAM Clinic

If you are a General Support volunteer (not a Professional Healthcare volunteer), in the Profession or Volunteer Classification sections, select (General Support) for both Event Area and Profession/Classification. 


If you are a Professional volunteer (not a general volunteer), in the Profession or Volunteer Classification section, select your profession (Vision, Medical, or Dental) and provide the information requested.


Under Events & Assignments, select Texas events. In the Event Category, select Clinics, and in Events, BE SURE TO SELECT THE ANGLETON CLINIC. We will receive our list of volunteers to ensure training is scheduled for the Angleton Clinic.


Please sign up to volunteer by October 31, 2025.

Volunteer Needs:

Training will be provided for those who volunteer. 

  • 50   General support volunteers
  • 3-5   People to help with the parking lot/shift (4shifts)
  • 10-15 Translators (Signers, Spanish, other)


If you would like to volunteer in a professional capacity, below are the 3 volunteer opportunities: 

Professional Volunteer (Medical):

  • 2 MD/DO & 1 Nurse Practitioner
  • 1-2 Women’s Health Provider
  • Nursing Students + preceptors (1:5 ratio of students: preceptors)

Professional Volunteer (Vision):

  • 4-5 Optometrists, 1-2 Opticians
  • Vision School + preceptors
  • (1:5 ratio of student to preceptors)

Professional Volunteer (Dental):

  • 3 Dentists, 1-2 Dental Hygienists 


Note:
Each Dentist will need an assistant (RDA/Hygienist)

  • Event setup, check-in, and hospitality
  • Healthcare professionals offering resources (eye exams, vitals, etc.)
  • Translators and community liaisons
  • Outreach ambassadors
  • Educators and workshop leaders
  • Administrative and support volunteers
