Better Life In Sight Foundation was created with a simple but powerful mission: to bring quality healthcare, education, and hope to those who need it most. As the nonprofit arm of The Eye Contact, Inc., we combine years of eye care expertise with a deep commitment to faith-based service and community outreach.

Within rural towns, we meet people where they are—offering free, comprehensive healthcare services and educational resources to individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to care.

To build healthier communities by promoting eye health and delivering access to medical services through compassionate, community-centered care.

Our Mission

To provide a better quality of life through sight for our neighbors in rural communities who would otherwise not be able to obtain healthcare education and healthcare.

Where We Serve

We focus our efforts in rural communities across the region, hosting free pop-up clinics, educational events, and student mentorship programs that make a lasting difference.

Our signature outreach efforts include:

My Neighbor Day™:

A community pop-up clinic offering free vision, dental, and medical services in partnership with Remote Area Medical (RAM).

Quarterly Healthcare Roadshows:

Educational programs for youth, seniors, and at-risk groups, teaching how eye exams can detect serious conditions like diabetes and hypertension.

Student Partnership Program:

Partnering with high school health science programs to offer students real-world learning, HIPAA certification, and volunteer opportunities.
